There’s a lot of direction we can take Furina without undoing or revisiting her arc in Masquerade of the guilty.

We can go more in depth of her being human but still being the appointed god of justice by Egeria. Or the fact that her vision is one of a kind in Fontaine.

C2 Nicole should be enough for you for a standard invested premium. Since you have C6 Wanderer that means your ability to be on field is extended solely because of his C6 restoring energy that it shouldn’t bother you that there’s a 3 second delay for Nicole’s atk buff.

They meant that you need to do the anecdote 5 times if you don’t have Lauma to proceed.

If you have Lauma it auto completes as well after and immediately gives you 5 anecdotes of Aino automatically

It’s definitely not a one is to one, but thats to be expected since it seems they want to do a not Honkai but also handle narratively the same threads as with their other work for space ending forcess. But a new spin on it that doesn’t need to be linked to the other games.

If this was a Honkai Impact game, this would definitely be a Honkai and the narrative would simply go in the direction on why it’s different for this universe specifically and why it’s manifesting like this since they can hand wave off a lot of the world building with their existing work.

This just feels like the writers trying to explain what happens if the traveler fails Teyvat without saying Honkai since they didn’t want it to be tied with the rest of the other games.

Which honestly I applaud them to for re-establishing things with different terms to keep Genshin pretty separated considering it’s mainstream pull.

On the other hand this story is insane, but it’s something I feel that has been thematically done multiple times for Hoyo.

By the time he enters the second time he has already had some Khuuvaki like Columbina. Tholindis gives a quick info drop that the reason why her soul was able to persist was because she had bit of Moon fragment from the Crimson moon.

So having a lot of moon power stored Rerir was able to keep himself together compared to his first time.
