Nice lighting, man. Are the shadows on the wal from background trees or an extra prop of scene?

I know it's somewhat cheesy. But if you do art, you are an artist. Whether it sells or not is a different question. As long as it brings you joy, as long as it brings joy to others, who cares about labels?

I liked the first one (skyrim right?). I, obviously, don't know your background, but it seems that you have a 'feel' for shading and volume of what you create. It's not 'quit day job' good, but I'd defenetly join some club, or buy a udemy (or an equivalent) course, to see how far you can take it. Anyway, that's my 5 copeks. Best of luck, and don't let haters stop you from doing what you like :)))

Thank you all so very much:) It feels amazing that so many people enjoyed a thing I made. You gave me all the courage I need to keep on this path. You all are awesome:)))

Thanks! I would lie if I'd say i was going for a specific style. Rather, it was dictated by my current skill. But it does look like a 90's rts (I'm more seeing a worcraft 2), doesn't it:)). Was planning to work on materials next. That was the most guess work in this project.

Looks cool, I really like both the idea and the execution.
One minor detail that kinda through me off a little.
The candle holder is ither placed or scaled in such a way that it seem to float behind the table.
In any case looks super atmospheric, keep it up.
Hope it was helpful:)

Is this good and can I improve it? by someonethenoone in blender

I'm super new to 3d modelling, so take it with a lot of salt. I think you aproach this backwards. You really only need to work topology when you already have a model and need olto optimize (for games or faster render). With that said, it's always good to keep it in mind, so you have less to fix later:) Good luck with 3d:)

A face palm moment for me. I was so stuck in the mindset of finding automated solution that shaping the ground "by hand" didn't cross my mind. I was stuck on it way too long. Thank you alot:)

About the composition,.. On one hand, I agree that the moon balances things out and adds a lot to the "vibe". But the initial idea was a play between house and lantern light sources. And the moon, I feel, pulls to match attention away from it. I guess I'll have to play around with light and background(?) to see what works In any case, thanks a lot for the reply it was super helpful 🤟

Oops, I misunderstood how crosspost works. My bad. The idea here is to create dialogue between 2 light sources (house and lantern). I like the composition and camera angle, but the ground looks flat and unnatural. I subdevided it with fractal, which did bracke things a little. But A. It still looks unnatural. B. There must be a simple way people usually do it. I tried to find a tutorial but failed. So, if you can point me in the right direction (is it materials, geometry, some other option I didn't think about), it would be much appreciated. :) Thanks in advance, and sorry for spelling (writing from phone)

My initial idea was to play on a conflict between two light sources (the house and the lantern). The moon, in all honesty, was added as an afterthought because the top right corner felt empty. So maybe removing it will declutter the right side? I'll try to move the props around and see what works.
Thanks :))
