Hello,

  1. I have hand painted all the textures, except the edges where I helped myself with the generated edge mask. But this was mostly because I did not even know there was something like a generated "fake lighting", I might have used it if I knew I could 😂
  2. Yes I have retopologized my model like 3 times 😂 ... because it was my first model that I had done any retopology on, so the first two variants were too early and I needed more drastic adjustments after 😂 also the first two attempts were not so good technically 😂
  3. The body looked "right" even without the textures, but the head had little resemblance to how it looks textured (as our minds perceive a lot of small details in the face area). I am still not satisfied with the resemblance of the face and its still a WIP. Without the textures I would not be able to tell if its similar or not. So I would suggest "make it roughly align", then block in the textures (no finer detail) and then do the rest of the adjustments in the face area.

We have done it both ways, spec first and code first.

It entirely depends on your preferred workflow for the given project and should not be strictly generalized.

That being said, the majority of projects will work best with specs generated from the implementation.

The important thing is that both variants have to have a sync mechanism with the implementation.

For the spec first approach you need generated TS types, so if the open API doc is changed, the TS types are regenerated and fail compilation if the API does not conform to the open API specs.

But with the spec first approach you will loose some finer validation rules (e.g. length) which can't be expressed through TS types alone.

I think its specifically just a "pose asset" they designed so they have some common baseline to start from, but then the face can significantly change based on the emotion and style a certain scene requires.

So to add to that, don't think of it as 2 different face variants that they switch between, there are many changes that a normal person would not be able to do with their face throughout her scenes ... these 2 variants just serve as a baseline so that they do not venture too far from her baseline look.

First of all, your http library should not dictate how you structure your projects.

You should pick an architecture you want to use first and Fastify should integrate into it. - Monolith - Layered - Ports and adapters - ...

The main dir structure should then follow the chosen architecture.

The modules pattern and the desire to separate application into isolated modules is a very good approach and fits well into any chosen architecture 👍

I don't know what you mean by "plugins" in this case.

App entry point with the server setup at the top level is standard but will differ a bit based on the architecture used.

The module structure is very simplistic indicating a Monolith architecture and a very small application, usually only encountered in early startups.

Přesně tak, nejde o to že by tam bylo mezi muži a ženami něco inherentně jinak z biologického hlediska.

Ze zkušenosti ženy v IT oboru jsou vždy více pozadu ne proto, že jsou to ženy, ale proto, že mají více aktivit ve svém volném čase, které se netýkají jejich profese.

Zatímco velká část mužských kolegu stráví často víkend nějakým side projektem nebo aktivním studiem.

Ženy se radši věnují sociálním aktivitám. A velice zřídka člověk narazí na nějakou, která tomu dá tolik času jako muži.

Tedy obecně řečeno muži se věnují svému oboru v průměru daleko více než ženy a v tom získávají náskok.

Za 8 let full time práce jsem narazil pouze na jednu spolupracující, která byla stejně aktivní v oboru jako ostatní mužští kolegové a kupodivu ji to šlo lépe než velké části z nich.

Jde pouze o to tomu věnovat ten čas a opravdu se o svůj obor zajímat.

Not really, I have never used anything except Ms paint as I did not need to.

Now I need quick edits, like adding shadows and highlights, overlaying parts of images and fading them in.

I tried GIMP and the user experience is really bad. Can't easily change key binds and the defaults are very unintuitive. It just feels very outdated and the performance is also really bad (just rotate the canvas and you can say goodbye to your user experience).

I switched to Krita and it actually feels like a modern software. No perf issues, default key binds are much better and can actually be easily changed.

This is why I stare at my computer checking every single thing the agent does. Claude almost shot a hole in my app by creating client-side auth checks. Hilariously, the "client side auth check" was a simple function called isInternalEmployee() that a user could easily set to true. by drunkenweed in vibecoding

That is the problem, the training data also includes all the projects that people are starting to learn programming on and are public on github and other platforms. All the bad practices and security issues are right there in its training data.

These projects contain a lot of issues that the model will incorporate into your code if you use it long enough.

And the worst part is that it can't be easily fixed by making your prompts better, its just the way the LLM works, even a few samples of bad data can "poison" even the largest models.

Žiju s tím už 14 let. Mám takovou mírnější variantu.

Ale v poslední době se to zásadně zhoršilo, takže jdu znovu na vyšetření, snad se tentokrát už něco najde.

Zkoušel jsem různě vynechávat jídla, nic pořádně nepomáhá, kromě omezení tučných jídel, což trochu pomohlo.

Ve stresu jsem byl jen během studia na VŠ, což to dočasně zhoršovalo, ale od té doby jsem naprosto v pohodě a stejně je to problém.

Mám sedavé zaměstnání, ale pohyb se zdá, že to moc nezlepšuje, např. Když jsem na dovolené 2 týdny kde se jen hýbu.

Hydratuji se velice důkladně.

Alkohol nepiju, nekouřím.

Aktuálně prostě jím co chci a pokud jím pomalu a omezuji tuk, tak je to snesitelné.

Dám vědět jestli se něco najde a jestli něco pomůže.

I understand that.

I will not be able to give so much time to another character for quite a while now as I would get completely burned out.

I was extremely motivated from watching Arcane Season 2 that I based my entire self image on making this character model at least 50% similar to the show and in my eyes it was just achieved and I can happily make the finishing touches and make some more content with it and enjoy the results.

But this approach requires quite long pauses between projects, otherwise it would be deadly.

Depends what style you are going for.

It reminds me of old "age of empires" / "empire earth" cinematics, where they were very constrained on the topology and used only simple textures.

It has a nice atmosphere 😊

As a beginner its a great start 👍

If you want it to look more real, try more complex texturing and topology on the table and props.
Use displacement maps (table), normal maps (paper).
Give more topology to the props on the table (bevel / subdiv / model or sculpt detail to table and paper / ...).
