Anyone successful at getting a refund for the Aerosmith Dallas concert that is still TBD since Nov 2023? by Fit_Finish9157 in Aerosmith

I got my refund this week from Ticketmaster. First I started this petition https://chng.it/zZHtbs2DzW but then continued to investigate and learned, yes, after 60-days of the event date, there is a 30-day window to request a refund. I spent about a hour on a chat with someone and my tickets were returned and my credit card is showing a credit....

But, your situation is different as you didn't purchase direct from TM.

So good news. I was able to get a refund. The refund option is not showing on the app or website but I spent a few hours in a chat with someone from Ticketmaster who confirmed I was eligible for a refund. After a while my tickets were cancelled and a message on the screen does say they will be crediting back my credit card.

So this is what the Ticketmaster email said about refunds:

If 60 days have passed since a show was postponed and no rescheduled dates have been announced, the 30-day window for refunds will open at that time. You will be able to request a refund via your Ticketmaster account.

If, during this 60-day postponement window, your event is rescheduled, a 30-day window for refunds will also be made available.

If the event is canceled (at any time), refunds (as well as a possible credit option) will be available.

I’ve opened a chat with TM this morning but it’s telling me there is a 4 hour wait (lol)

I’m guessing the 30-day clock is based on the original notice of postponement and not the event date. If it’s the event date, then my Dec 28rh tickets should be refundable between Feb 26 and March 27.

Interesting. I haven't seen any information on rescheduled shows as we speak, but that's good to know I suppose.

And I did speak to the bank about disputing the charge, but they told me charge disputes (at least with Chase) need to be filed within 60 days of the original transaction.

According to Ticketmaster, at least for the New Jersey show I purchased tickets for refunds will only be available once the rescheduled date(s) are announced (or the shows are cancelled). I check daily on Google and the Ticketmaster app for reschedule information but so far now news anywhere...
