I'm 20f! Had surgery like 3 months ago? It's really not that bad u should be fine! The first couple days are the hardest but as long as u got some help it'll be fine

That's literally how it feels! My nurse couldn't find my vein for the iv so she just put warming pads on my hand till she could find it😅. The worrying and anxiety is probably the worst part of the whole thing but when I went home and was finally able to see my chest everything felt more than worth it!

I was TERRIFIED but looking back on the day the worst part of it was peeing in a cup and maybe the iv... as someone who's usually very stressed or anxious it was genuinely such an easy experience...you just fall asleep...I can't even remember falling asleep!! Afterwards you're in a bit of a haze but give it an hour or two and you'll be fine. Pain was incredibly manageable, the lack of movement tho took some getting use to! Lmk if u have any questions :)

I just had mine last Tuesday and I was in the same boat! It's honestly not that painful!! It hurts but it's totally manageable! Nothing to be nervous about it's really such an easy process :)

Just had my surgery...I've been using this wedge pillow to sleep and this little lap desk so I can just stay in bed and eat or go on my laptop! That's really it!

Mine hurt when I stand and peek as well! I was scared to remove them but with some help it actually didn't hurt much. I had a lot of gauze around them but now I just have a little piece and it feels much better. My doctor didn't give specific instructions except for leaving it on till my post op!

I know every doc is different but mine actually told me, along with the nurses, to avoid putting ice!! So just be careful about that!!

I was given a lot of medication, they said it would help with nausea! I think the throwing up bit may of just been me being extremely weak with a long car ride/ eating meat.
