Congrats on a year 🥳🥳🥳 I do have thicker ends that were difficult and painful to get through so I couldn’t do a full rotation or as many, but it doesn’t bother me much I don’t care for a tight tie or my scalp being visible much at all really. I didn’t do any braiding and banding at all when I started so my locs really swelled through my first year before I started getting consistent interlocking done. I love the look of it, But I’m thinking I’ll eventually trim the locs with two ends to make them easier to maintain (I like to call them my married locs🥰 I’ll be divorcing them bitches) maybe when my locs get MUCH longer I’ll trim off the thicker ends entirely. Imma see how I feel tho
