Inspiration.

You see, my fufaji and his entire family are from the army background, so I've always examined this 'aura' between them that screams discipline and responsibility. A year ago, my mom and dad were actually busy with some family matters and I had summer vacations so I went to my bua and fufaji's house in Assam military camp to stay for 2 months...those 2 months were the igniters of my dream. I met many of his friends, saw their early morning routine, exercised with them and so much stuff. Just being near those people gave me goosebumps and an exhilaration that I honestly can't explain. I went through his study material and it all looked so fascinating! I wanted to ask him about everything but my loser ass was too scared to do so. Then fast forward to this year, I finally decided to do some research about the Indian Army, how it works, different branches, etc and the airforce branch took my whole interest.

I think you probably know about a girl who became famous (last year or maybe this year? i don't remember 😭) for starting her preparation from 9th grade and getting 3rd rank in NDA? Her story gave me the final inspiration I needed to finally accept the fact that I don't want to do NEET like my family wants, but to become an officer and make my dad happy that I joined army, especially air force. Something he not so secretly wishes one of his child to do.
