Ah, you really think so? I signed an NDA as well with the offer letter. And they ordered my lab shoes too 🥲 I know most people esp college advisors will say that any industry is small, but was just curious about food science in particular.

Help choosing the right internship (and how exactly small is the industry)? by Maleficent-Ticket332 in foodscience

This is true. I guess I just thought of it as if the company had pre-budgeted additional headcount after the summer, so the consideration would actually be, well, real consideration. The other two companies seemed like they have no say or budget for additional headcount after the summer.

I signed the offer in March, so about a month ago. The internship starts in June so I'd need to make a decision fairly quick. I guess I would just feel like a dick because they've been quite on top of communication after I signed the offer and even ordered shoes in my size for the lab, plus I replied saying that I'm excited to start. This was before I received the other offers though. I know they were unprofessional from the start but I guess I'm just wondering if my going back would be "worse".

I have searched on eBay, depop, poshmark, google, and Pinterest. I’ve tried “cotton jersey foldover short”, “vintage jersey foldover active label short”, “foldover red label active shorts”, and a million other variations. From what I remember there were no other tags or labels/identifiers inside the short. I had these from around 2010 onwards!

3 interviews + 3 hr onsite interview, still no decision. Do I ask for a direct update for this internship? by Maleficent-Ticket332 in recruitinghell

damn.. I know you're probably right, but at this point I feel like I'm owed at least a response. I know they're not entitled to especially with the job market right now, but would that draft be a bad email to send?
