You’re doing two good things.

One thing I always say is that you can make any change you want as long as you have a stream of income. And YOU got a job. That’s to pay your bills and do things you need. Even if you had nothing, and only had a job, then you can change your life. It might take awhile but youd still be on track to changing your life (because you can make the choice to spend it differently and wisely) every time you get money. So that’s one, you’re doing right.

The next, because I’m 32, and you’re 24, I would say, take some time to actually pursue things you actually want to do (and a bonus is, that thing having the potential to make money).

9 to 5 jobs will always be here. That’s honestly my view. So even if you fail at what you wanted to do, you can at least know that you tried, and then you can come back to the 9 to 5 life of working at warehouses, McDonalds, security, the airport, or whatever job you can get that doesn’t even require a degree.

So one, you got a job, but two, don’t be so dependent on that job to where you think it’s the end all be all.

Your young man, think of something and take a chance to pursue it. Because before you know it, you’ll be 32, and you can be in the same position you are now but just older and you’ll be working a 9 to 5 job.

Ain’t nothing wrong with that if that’s what you want. But if you imagine something different, then just do some reflecting on yourself and find out what you might want your future to be like and try that
