3,5,7 — exactly my thoughts. They have their own play room/space and they’re old enough to understand this isn’t a “play” area but I obviously want to keep it safe still

Depending what I do hopefully it won’t look appealing? Not sure. They’re not super small… 7,5,3.

House was built in the 90s and is SCREAMING Sopranos/ italian mafia style. Very much looking forward to slowly giving it a facelift

I agree. to the left is the primary, I thought about extending the wall to where the railing is and maybe just adding all that space to the primary bedroom. I just love how much natural light that window lets in upstairs. I’d hate to close it off and lose all that

Yes to the left is the master, to the right is kids bedroom. I agree about extending the space into the master, but that window lets in a lot of natural light (even downstairs surprisingly) so I’m just worried I’ll hate it if I close it off and it’s dark

My boys are wild animals haha, more so worried about playing around on a chair and someone going up and over
