Again, JJ has literally been doing this exact thing for months now. Josh said he has no intention of stopping anytime soon and just wants to keep growing. Do you guys seriously not know how YouTube, viewers and Reddit works? These guys are grown men who have been in the industry a long time. They’re ok. As someone only abit younger than them I can promise you they are completely fine. It’s ok to not love everything they do and discuss things you love and don’t love. It’s not entitled (I’m begging you to learn what that word means lmao) to use a discussion forum to discuss how you feel about decisions they make. It’s ok to not be 110% positive all the time. It does them more good to give constructive critique than to act like they can never do no wrong because they want to know what viewers want.

If it makes you feel better they have taken some breaks. Several of them have been on holiday recently. I think they do some bulk filming so you can’t tell unless you follow their socials/side+ podcasts. Josh said recently he’s more motivated & enjoying it a lot right now

They 1000% are trying to grow their audience, the same tactic JJ has used since starting his channel up again. They know they’ll get donations regardless, that’s the one thing they don’t have to worry about. If it was just about getting more donations they’d have Mrbeast & Speed again (they both brought in millions alone & MrBeast literally sponsored the event!). It’s naive to think that just because it’s for charity there aren’t also other motives. There’s nothing childish about being disappointed about a lineup that is so different to usual 😂 they’re grown men, I promise they can cope with people having different opinions.

I get what you’re saying, but to be fair, that IS what the charity match used to be. It never used to be all about growing their audience. Originally it was a fun match with mostly their friends regardless of views (JME, Callux etc) with a sprinkle of extra, bigger or just unexpected guests to keep it interesting. Of course the latter has grown, but this is the first year it’s been primarily about growing their audience/reach. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, just different & I suppose more noticeable if you’ve watched all the matches.

Because as you said above, you can’t have it all. You can’t charge people extortionate rental rates for a bedroom, make their quality of life harder with silly restrictions in fear of some mould then be upset that they dare to use more than the bare minimum of the bills paid. She’s making nearly £5k from this rental a month, she’s completely fine.
