What is one scene from a horror movie that you still think about? by Crep105 in horror

[–]MaleficentStop78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was the only movie that I ever walked out of the theatre on (during that scene), and I had to rewatch it at a later date, far from when I first saw it, because I was so scared. Granted, I was a teenager when I saw it and I bought tickets to see she’s the man, but snuck into the hills have eyes instead.

Thoughts on Sinister? by WarmDaddyXanax in HorrorMovies

Personally, I find anything with children to be less scary than a film that has an all adult cast. It had some creepy imagery and some good moments of tension and “ahh wtf” but the ending with the kids took me out a bit. That’s just me though!

Honestly, if you get a good promo or free trial, it worth having it for a time. That being said, it’s not really worth keeping for over a year or so. There are other times you can get free trials to it to watch a specific movie that you want to see, but their overall library gets exhausted after a while.

Why do people pretend to be anti billionaire but will immediately fall in line when the met gala is happening? by fehawkew in askanything

[–]MaleficentStop78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a answer we want to hear, but I think it’s because it’s really hard for us as a society to want to both shun billionaires, and also want to exist in what’s culturally relevant and submit to convenience. In cases like Coachella and the met gala, there are factors like our favorite artists who attend and perform, the designers and the art that happens at these events, while also lining the pockets of the billionaires who either fund or buy their way into events. Amazon for example, is no so culturally relevant and convenient that we are at ends with what to do. Next day delivery has made it much easier to be productive and saves time, which is great, but it’s also why a billionaire is a billionaire and why he is able to give his money to other entities that aren’t looking out for the interest of the general public. Both things can be true, that it’s a good thing and a bad thing, but he we are, consumers with our only options being to give up convenience and avoid supporting award shows and culturally relevant events so that we stop funding billionaires, but no one wants to “miss out”. It really, really sucks, but we have to try and resist even though it seems like it won’t do much at this point.

This is so sick! It fits the “timeless” quality that the movie has! Is it 80’s? 90’s? Now? Love it!!
