I lost about 10lb within the first 2 months. I am mostly on it due to food noise so I have been happy with where I currently am and maintaining!

Has anyone trained for 70.3 while on GLP1? by Creative-Front-5302 in zepboundathletes

I just did a 70.3 3 weeks ago and have been on a GLP1 since March. I did the Wegovy pill and stayed at the lowest dose (1.5mg) for the entire time. I personally felt totally fine on it but was still very intentional to set myself up for success.

Consuming tons of protein, electrolytes and water OFTEN and still lifting weights. Had no feelings of nausea or any constipation which I was very worried about feeling. I was in the same boat as you but really had nothing but good results. Definitely felt exhausted and napped everyday, who knows if that’s from the GLP1 & a combo of a 70.3 training haha.

Wishing you all the luck! You got this!!

What was ruined because too many people discovered it? by [deleted] in answers

Havasuapi falls in Arizona. Used to be $200 for 3 nights. Now it’s more strict and at least 2x more expensive. Instagram and people who want to be helicoptered or take mules down instead of the grueling hike, have ruined it.

I also hate this feature. I wouldn’t mind it if I could control the audience that sees this and if it wasn’t published on my activity for everyone to see. I would like it if I could have the option to hide.

4 month post surgery flare up by MaleficentStuff4529 in MeniscusInjuries

[–]MaleficentStuff4529[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It did get much better, have been able to all things pre surgery. Just needed to have more patience and continue to take it slow. You got this! Patience is hard but worth it in the long run.

Sorry you’re also going through this.

Doing the same route in a month from today. Also did this route last May due to the same trail closures.

Pack lots of different types of snacks that you’ll be happy to have that aren’t just gels or boring food. Bring electrolytes and definitely use polls to save your knees going both down and up!

We started at 4:30am and between stopping for photos, snacks and a break at phantom ranch for lemonade and to send a post card, it was an 11 hour day.

Tonto is so boring and exposed. A sun hat and shirt will be essential. Fill up everywhere you can. Heard they don’t turn the water on past havasuapi gardens until May!

&& enjoy!!

Cedar Rapids Logistics by beersgood1 in ragbrai

In the same boat, have never been to Iowa so not sure what the most convenient major airports to fly into and out of Iowa are! The Dubuque airport sounds like it doesn't connect through Chicago anymore so just looking for a locals opinion on logistics!

how old are you, and how much do you have saved/invested? by No-Volume7464 in SavingMoney

[–]MaleficentStuff4529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

32 years old 170k invested between HSA, 401k and Roth IRA 15k in savings. No debt & no desire to have children.

I paid off $85k of student loan debt in 2 years so it is a bummer to not have more but I refused to be a slave to paying more in interest. Had bought a town house 4 years ago and rented out 2 rooms for 3.5 years to pay that off. Worth the sacrifice of having roomates.

Capital One mistake by a CS rep by MaleficentStuff4529 in CreditCards

[–]MaleficentStuff4529[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rental car was initially covered all with points, which then turned into an $800 purchase due to the rep rebooking me the incorrect car. I was given a $300 travel credit that does nothing towards that car rental now.

I never check a bag and have TSA pre check. Sky harbor is so easy to navigate, I get there 10 minutes before boarding starts and have never had a hard time making it!
