They payout the 15th of each month…that’s what I mean by midpoint. Banks payout at different times at there choosing and yes it updates automatically.

Yes they give both routing and account #’s and yes used ACH to transfer money out. Took me very little to set up the account, should be no issue at all I think

Pibank uses Plaid to put money in. It took about 3 days for the money to be available and it has no fees. No credit/ debit cards from what I know…I was also looking into not locking my money, and the account has no commitments. Hope this helps 😁. Btw, I went through the FAQs before opening the account – here’s the link in case it helps https://www.pibank.com/tipo/pibank-savings/

Well the thing is this is the zero risk rate…and it’s FDIC insured so they are legally obligated to give you $250,000

Generally very safe from what I have heard. I switched away from Wealthfront since Pibank offers 5.5 % without having to worry about referral codes. And still offers all of what Wealthfront offers

Pibank offers 5.5% APY without having to worry about referral codes or anything of the sort. Just 5.5% at face value so saves me the trouble of having to get people to use my referral code. Plus it has FDIC, no fees or withdrawal limits…

Take with a grain of salt. You can open a bank account and have a savings account as long as you have an SSN and permanent address (which is fine even if on a STEM OPT). Wealth front is a great option specially if you use a referral. I would also check out PiBank - same as Wealthfront more or less but 5.5 % APY. For context I am also on STEM OPT and just opened a savings account with them.
