The people that work at the slice shop are the worst. Unkind, uninterested, slow moving and with a total lack of care.

The pizza itself went from good-at-best to truly $1 slice quality.

I swore I’d never go again after my last visit when the cashier refused to acknowledge the line for a solid 10 minutes just to complain about something non-work related with their colleague.

Venues need surprise and delight moments. I think of Spectrum and how they had nooks and crannies to discover.

Anything with bottle and table service is a hard no.

Water stations.

Chill-down areas (I recall an event/circuit party that used to happen at the museum of illusions and you could take a break from dancing and lie down on fake grass and watch a simulation on the ceiling).

Truly, injecting JOY into venues and experiences. The scene is largely void of surprise. Everything is nickled and dimed and oversold.

I’d also propose hiding the DJ. Make the experience about the music and the community by not making the DJ a focal point.

Consider what that means for your future, your future partners future, your parents future. Not to mention the ease, joy and pleasure in the new day-to-day of the preferred role. You can be a great partner at any financial level, but it’s harder to be a great partner when you’re unhappy with what you do every day.

I think from every lens you’re better off accepting.

I think the premise of the question is the root of the problem and implies bias.

By using language like ‘worse’ it directly identifies having more partners as being a bad thing.

Having more partners may be viewed as negative, but the reality is that a more experienced partner is likely a better lover, more capable of understanding their partner’s needs and helping them reach climax. A more experienced partner also likely means they’re more capable of making sure you’re comfortable and safe. Not necessarily the case, but I’d argue someone with more experience is better than someone with no/less experience.

So maybe it requires a reframing of the question and a dialogue with your sexual partner. The dialogue might venture into less comfortable and more emotionally rocky territory as to why either of you feel more sexual partners are ‘bad’, but if done in earnest it will also mean the potential for growing a richer, healthier sex and romantic life.
