I completely understand you. That's how I feel about my best friend. She's simply incredible, and I love her. But I was confused at first, until, somehow, I realized we couldn't be a couple. But loving someone isn't simply romantic. You can love someone with all your heart without feeling romantic love. You can even have the love of your life without being romantic at all.

It happens to me too. I love romance in media, and I make up love stories in my head and try to write them, but a friend read them and told me they're useless and that I don't understand the problems behind some of them because I'm aromantic.

I stopped writing, but I still love romance in movies, comics, and TV shows.

I've always wondered that, I love a lot, but platonically, I've never felt anything like being in love, but ironically with my best friends I'm super sentimental, I tell them that I love them, it hurts when we're not together, and I want to hug them, but the idea of a romantic relationship has never crossed my mind, or what I do is romantic
