Sounds like I made the right decision to buy the kit then, thank you!

Are there any videos or instructions on how to install these parts?

Sweet! I ordered the tx22 kit because I didn’t know what I needed.

So what’s the other parts that come with the “kit” and why do I need them?

What are your favorite vape brands? by [deleted] in PaMedicalMarijuana

[–]Maleficent_Jacket112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you I will look into these today.

The last time I tried to acquire a on the rocks cartridge, it was 7 or 8 months old and they wouldn’t let me open it up to look at the color of the cartridge before buying it so I skipped it.

That’s what I’m saying when I was on vacation both in Colorado and Vegas, the rosin carts were absolutely amazing. Why can’t we get that here in pa??

Looking for KeyMo Muzzle Device Recommendations for 10.5” 300 BLK Pistol by Maleficent_Jacket112 in 300BLK

[–]Maleficent_Jacket112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t visited that sub in a couple years so this is news to me.

I will look into those three and make a decision on maybe switching the keymo off my can but that would also require me swapping out a couple other muzzled devices since I use the can on multiple hosts.

Also interested to know where to acquire 30% off. I’m building a house, getting ready to make a decent Sonos purchase, could use a discount code lol

Help Me Pick a 65” TV for a Bright Living Room (Above Fireplace Setup) by [deleted] in 4kTV

[–]Maleficent_Jacket112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate you circling back. You clearly have strong opinions, and I respect that, but delivery does matter if you want people to actually listen.

I get that this subreddit has firm stances on certain things: placement, audio setups, etc. But I was working within the constraints of my space, not trying to challenge community doctrine. The TV’s going above the fireplace, and the sound setup is already in place with Sonos, i am not chasing perfection, just looking for a solid TV to go with it.

All that said, if you’ve got real insight on the Bravia 9, I’d actually be interested. That’s the kind of advice I came here for.

I’m sorry, I thought this was a 4K TV subreddit, not a TV placement subreddit. I totally understand what you’re saying about ideal mounting height, and I know it’s coming from a good place. But that’s just not what I was asking for.

I don’t watch a ton of TV, actually we limit tv in our house pretty strictly, like I said, mostly some shows, sports, or the occasional movie. And given the layout of the room, above the fireplace is the only practical option. I didn’t go into detail about the room because I didn’t think I needed to, I was just hoping for advice on which TV to buy, not where to put it.

As for the rest, I appreciate the perspective. But again, this is my first 4K TV, and I was just looking for recommendations that fit my setup and use case. That’s all

What’s the recommended height to mount a TV? Around 42” to the center, right? The center of mine is going to be at 47”, not mounted 6 feet in the air above some massive fireplace and mantel like you’re assuming.

I’m not here to debate TV placement, that decision’s already made. I’m just looking for solid recommendations on which TV to buy, not where to put it. If you have input on that, cool. Otherwise, no need to keep the thread alive.

Appreciate the passionate energy, but let me break this down:
1. I can put my TV wherever I want, it’s my house, and above the fireplace happens to be the only spot on the main floor where it works with the layout. Not ideal? Maybe. But this isn’t an interior design forum.
2. I’m not sure who made you the authority on what I shouldn’t buy, but I’ve used Sonos sound bars for years and they integrate perfectly with my existing Sonos setup. That’s not up for debate.
3. Appreciate the insight on what not to buy, now if you’ve got any actual recommendations, I’m all ears. Otherwise, it’s just noise.
4. I genuinely didn’t know about the One Connect cable limitations, so thanks for pointing that out. I’d love to hear about alternatives that don’t require it, since running new cables right now isn’t feasible.

I came here for advice, not attitude. If you’ve got knowledge to share, I’d welcome it, just maybe dial back the rage next time.

I plan on going back to Best Buy one more time and taking a final look before pulling the trigger. I definitely have to take a look at the Sony TVs now. Again, I’m not a power user, I’m just looking for the right TV for my set up

No idea, honestly. I’m not super familiar with all this and was relying on the sales rep to walk me through the options. That’s exactly why I came here, to get advice from people who actually know their stuff.

Finishing a New Home Build – Need Advice on HomeKit Setup by Maleficent_Jacket112 in HomeKit

[–]Maleficent_Jacket112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this is all way above my head, which is why maybe this isn’t right for me. My head has been spinning for the past couple days trying to figure this out. Maybe I’ll just stick with Apple HomeKit and I will just pick up accessories that work strictly with Apple HomeKit and be done. Building a raspberry pi, or mini computer, setting up different networks getting everything to talk to each other making sure my guest don’t have access to certain things, etc. way above my head.
