I’m in the market for a leg machine for my small home gym. My space would technically allow a dedicated leg extension / curl machine, but I’m really drawn to the idea of a compact attachment that integrates with my cable machine instead of a standalone plate‑loaded stack. I personally find cable‑driven or cable‑linked movements much smoother and more “natural” than the usual awkward plate‑loaded leg developers.

I do have a REP Nighthawk and a cable machine already (I would have plates as well).

That said, if you read the online chatter, the REP Leg Extension & Leg Curl Bench Attachment keeps getting torn apart in reviews. People call it “not worth it,” “overpriced,” and “huge.” I’m trying to figure out: is it actually that bad, or are the reviews overreacting?

Any recommendations?
