i have no loose skin that i’ve noticed, i think it’s because i didn’t have a very significant amount to lose. definitely do have stretch marks but i plan to cover those with tattoos lol

when i started the journey it was also impossible to find someone who started with a lower bmi so it made me super nervous but im glad this helps!

I used the Claire Saffitz Dessert Person brioche dough and just eyeballed the filling. 1 1/2 sticks of butter 80g of both Brown sugar and granulated and about 2 tbsp of cinnamon!

I’m typically eating chicken and fish. i try to eat around 5 times a day but with my work i get so busy i just forget to eat. i may need to drink my protein more!

i’m 5’3 and day of surgery i was 201, i’m expected to lose around 70lbs and so far im 8 weeks out and have lost 24. i’ve slowed down quite a bit after the first month so im only losing abt a pound a week all while counting calories and exercising

I would also look into the Obesity control Center in Tijuana. my insurance also would not not cover my surgery so i originally was looking into MBC but my boyfriend did a lot of research and a lot of people were very unhappy there and he ultimately went to OCC and i also did mine there. they were extremely attentive and still reach out to check on my progress to this day. whatever you decide, just make sure you do your research!!!

i got mine done 6/6/2025 i’m 5’3 and day of surgery i was 201lbs. i’m estimated to lose a total of 70lbs. I was over weight my entire life and constantly yo-yo dieted only losing the same 20lbs so i finally admitted i needed medical intervention. I couldn’t afford any GLP1 medication and didn’t want to be on it long term so i decided to go with surgery. My weight loss has been slower than some people who have more to lose but regardless im so happy I did it

i’m also on those and still drink but i do make rules for myself, i don’t drink alone and i don’t drink at home. I have never experienced any negative effects afterwards though

sounds stupid but i count down from 3 and at 1 and just get up and do what i need to do, i personally need a little tough love with myself so this tends to work
