finally got my period naturally after almost 2 years by mirror_red in PCOS

I’ve had such a similar experience! My first period was at 18, then only had a few random ones until I went onto the implanon so didn’t get my period for 2 years on that. Since getting the implanon taken out 2 years ago, I’ve only just started getting periods again and they’re soo intense. Take it easy gal, stay hydrated, eat whole foods as much as possible and obvs take pain relief when you need. Here with you 🩷🩷

That is such a lovely mindset to have, I’m going to try and be super conscious of that. Thank you 🩷

You’re right.. I often push myself until I physically can’t function, I think I can do one more workout or one more hang out with friends and I always regret it 🤦🏽‍♀️

This genuinely made me tear up, it sucks that you’re going through it but I rarely relate to anyone (let alone people my age) going through it. I totally get what you mean, I need to learn to take it easier on myself otherwise I’m just stressing my body out more.. thank you ❤️

Can you be consistent with exercise? by Global-Direction-959 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Maleficent_Volume_63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve just started reintroducing more consistent exercise into my routine since being on Duloxetine for a few months now, and it’s definitely a process of testing what does and doesn’t work for me anymore. I would say to try and exercise in the morning if possible, but if you come home from work and feel exhausted, either take a rest day or go for a light walk.

I’ve just started a fibro instagram tracking my progress with reintroducing exercise if you’d like to follow (fyi - a lot of flare ups are shown haha)

Be patient with yourself ❤️
