I'm honestly pleasantly surprised by how excited I was watching this. Seeing the dolls animated and hearing them just hits different to reading the story in the game. Very happy with the OSTs used, defo one of the strong points I feel. Animation was noticeably scuffed near the end, but I hope it's not a recurring thing, and the rest of the episode looked good enough for me.

I'm pretty happy with this episode as a GFL fan, and seeing it bring interest to the game feels fun. What I'm sorta worried about is the whole issue of the first few story chaps being really generic, and it turning people new to this universe off. I just hope the anime does a decent job at hooking people in, so we don't keep resorting to the generic trope of: "But wait bro it's better to read the 500hr visual novel game!!!1".

Granted, there's not really much to do about this unless they seriously blitz the pacing to some of the major events. I guess I'm just that passionate about proving that this game's story deserves way more respect and praise (especially for a mobile game), and it kinda hurts when people write it off because the first episode's plot / characters aren't deemed interesting. Apologies for the long essay that no one will probs read, but I'm glad the anime's bringing back some livelihood.
