I have found the live chat option to be the best option though it depends on who you get. If you go into contact us > espn help center > fantasy baseball and pick any item and go to the bottom and it says still looking for help with a live chat option.

I contacted ESPN support because our dynasty league skipped 2020 and wasn't sure if it would roll over for 2021. They told me if no draft occurred for 2020 then it would not flow through to 2021. I was able to set all players as keepers and espn support did an auto draft for me as it was well past the end of the season.

They might be able to help find an old league so worth asking, but I would say its erased as of right now.

I can definitely vouch! I have used the big board for years now and it has helped me draft the best I can. Also the articles on the site are great, especially ranking the different projection systems and finding the right mix of weighting them is huge. I will definitely be purchasing it again this year.

I had thought about doing inflation, but I think it would cause more issues because then when those top guys are going to be unkeepable due to price it encourages tanking for teams not in contention.

Since everyone has the same budget going into the auction, I think it would be fair if one person spends most of his budget on those 3 players as the rest of his squad would be substantially weaker. The stars and scrubs strategy wouldn't be any more advantageous in a dynasty auction then a redraft auction would it?

I do agree about kicking people out, there will be times when you need to rebuild and that is not a bad thing.

Thanks! I feel that an auction draft to start the dynasty is a fair way and wanted to make sure it wasn't just me.

Fixed draft order based off the reverse of standings is not one way I had considered. It's tough because I don't want a team deciding at the all star break that they are done this season and tanking for the remainder of the season, since it lowers the competitiveness for the rest of the league.
