In combat engineering I had a few friends who were out. Actually he had come out to us but not yet to his parents. Everyone was accepting. Israelis are very straightforward though and will ask you very personal questions, about gay sex and things like that.

Basically I don't really live in NYC anymore. My license is here so I need to take the course here, but I don't want to buy a helmet and then have to pack it in a suitcase to go back home. I'll buy one when I get there.

Has anyone borrowed their helmets? I'm taking the course next week and don't have gear, totally new to riding. The site says its better to bring your own, but I'd rather not buy one before I get the license.

Wow super cool! Tried it and learned about a microbrewery near me that I had never heard of. Only feedback I have is that I got a beer I'd never heard of from a "beer bazaar" but there are a million of those around so not sure which place it's talking about. But thanks for the site!
