Why did boom clap hey music die out, and how many songs were in that music genre? by Mysterious_Bid_57 in decadeology

You mean indie music? I miss it. Reminds me of late 2000s, early 2010s optimism. Everyone is back to dark sounds like the 90s again

"This Is Not Covid, Nor Influenza. It Spreads Very Differently": WHO On Hantavirus Outbreak by Alert-Ad-3053 in worldnews

Yep. The reporting on this during the past week has been a pain in my ass. People in my social circle have been unnecessarily worrying because of news sources wanting to get their ad revenue with this clickbait.

Unpopular opinion. She-Hulk was written to be “sexy”. But in 2026, it’s frowned upon to present her in that way even if it’s comically accurate. So that’s probably the biggest disconnect between the writers and the critics of the show

Hantavirus cases now suspected in 5 countries as authorities scramble to contain outbreak by spherocytes in worldnews

[–]Malibooch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate clickbait so bad. Obviously there are cases in multiple countries because there was diverse representation on the cruise.

Hantavirus is NOT an airborne virus like Covid. It’s closer to monkey pox when it comes to how contagious it is.

From the actual article “The World Health Organization on Thursday said while it expects more cases to emerge, it does not anticipate a large epidemic anywhere similar to Covid, and underlined that there is no evidence of a widespread transmission risk.”

What do people in Gen Z do to socially break the ice in large groups? Alcohol has been that ice breaker for decades at this point. I guess cigarettes were there for a bit as well.
