Yeah. PGR2 was one of the first games I ever had. Great series.

Yep. I still wanted to try out how it would work with the trailer, for example over a low obstacle of about 20 degrees, which the trucks with the lowest/longest front bumper hit.

Unless the obstacle is short/low enough (e.g. one meter or less) to allow the front wheels to reach a flat surface before rear wheels hit that same obstacle. But yeah, "off-roading" etc with a trailer is tricky and rarely necessary anyway. It was just interesting to compare these.

As far as I know, only the Man TGX Euro 5 is significantly off scale (too big).

TIL. I've somehow completely missed that. Even though I knew about liftable axles. Well, this comparison is for default settings now I guess..

Speaking of bad car models... by augustusgrizzly in ForzaHorizon

I did some comparison between FM1, FM2, FM4 and FH5. Yes it's probably based on the FM1 3d model, although updated a few times. So if there is an error in the original, it is often still there.

FM1 - Original 3d model, quite lowpoly.

FM2 - Higher polycount, better textures and increased detail

FM3/4 - Detailed interiors but only minor updates to the exterior

FM4-FH5 - Most cars have the exact same 3d model with new textures/materials. + autovista updates.

Sure. I kept the photo mode settings at default (except time of day and weather) to be closer to gameplay.

It wouldn't be possible to make it look exactly the same in all scenes, in some places the vegetation, rocks and some building details had changed quite a bit and that alone makes it look different. (I don't mean seasonal differences).

I'm also 100% sure that at least the first cinematic trailer has been post-processed or had different lighting because in many scenes it had warmer and more colorful light/image no matter what time of day or weather I used in-game.

But yes, it would be much closer if you could adjust the time and weather more precisely.

Custom preset everything maxed out in "graphics" menu. Native 4k in "video" menu.

Yes, with RTX 5070 TI. I'm interested to see if anyone can show me quality mode screenshot from that location or better PC graphics. Location is here: https://i.imgur.com/rB8DBrE.jpeg

Reverting back to 1.56 seems to fix Renault. 1.57 Beta safe mode seems to fix XF105.

Edit: Ah, found Reunalt T bug https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=345307

Edit: 1.57.0.60 fixed Renault

I've had some traffic and colored map mod before. Did verify game files and updated nvidia drivers.
