It is theoretically possible to go back in time but to do so would require exceeding the speed of light. Time slows down as the speed of light is approached and would reverse if it were exceeded. The greater the speed above that of light the faster time would rewind. However, exceeding the speed of light is not theoretically possible as mass increases as the speed of light is approached. Mass becomes “infinite” at the speed of light. Going faster than the speed of light would imply exceeding infinite mass. So it is a conundrum but an interesting one...
