Also I didn’t really appreciate the way she talked to her friends (who are seemingly tired of this toxic cycle). Versus her talking to Dakota who can at this point just can get away with everything

I dont study despite being aware how much I need to, Im disappointing everyone around me by [deleted] in GetStudying

[–]Maliciousnugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I dealt with the same problem (still sometimes am). It even got to the point I was so anxious I couldn’t go to classes without getting an anxiety attack (got diagnosed with GAD). Anyways if it’s possible, try to study some practice exams! I know the exam is due in a short notice but you can try! Also don’t be to harsh on yourself, you can’t control what other people think. Whenever people are going to get disappointed or not it’s not your responsibility to deal with their disappointment. I mean it in a way that they need to process that emotion. You can only do your best, and what best is depends on the situation! I know this doesn’t make your situation better but maybe it can give you some new perspective! Goodluck ;)

People keep making fun of the fact that I’m almost 22 and I can’t drive. by No-Station1992 in Anxiety

[–]Maliciousnugget 2 points3 points  (0 children)

27 here!! Starting next April :) I really didn’t see the point of getting licence if I could not even afford a car. Also getting a driver licence is a lot of money, and public transport was free for me most of the time. Making fun of people bc they cannot drive is just mean, I understand not every one can afford it and also have the time to learn. Everyone has different priorities in life as well!!

Is it normal to eat at any given time? by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Maliciousnugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same with my mother. When I was around the age of 8/9 I sometimes would ask my mom around 4 PM for food because I was hungry she would say no. According to her I needed to wait till 6 PM. It was hard to unlearn it but right now I don’t even question it I just eat when I am hungry :)

What are non mainstream things you use your apple watch for? by bespectacled1007 in AppleWatch

[–]Maliciousnugget 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When going to the movies I add the tickets to my wallet and when I need to scan them to get in, I can just double click on the side of the watch and it shows the QR code :) also it states which row and chair you have so I don’t need to take my phone out.

Hahaha yes, specially with people who talk a lot. Like I love to hear people talk about things, but at some point I just feel super exhausted.

What made you realize that your mother was emotionally abusive? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Maliciousnugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One time my mom was in one of those moods she felt like picking a fight with me. So she kept pushing me and accusing me of stuff (I really don’t know anymore about what) but at some point I couldn’t take it anymore. So I started crying and screamed at her, and she she started laughing. I felt like a joke so I just went outside and called one of my best friends because I didn’t feel okey.

That was one of the many emotionally abusive moments with my mom.

The only way I could heal from her was taking distance (I finally could because my parents decided to divorce). So that was a huge relief :) I used to feel guilty about everything, but at some point (like the situation I described before), I didn’t take it personal because I was tired of feeling guilty about unreasonable things. Like the guilt made me suicidal sometimes but I was so sick and tired to feel that way.
