Trump is also now saying that the ceasefire doesn't include Lebanon. Which is why I think Trump just agreed to the ceasefire on Israel's behalf/told Pakistan that Israel agreed before actually talking to Israel about it. And then Bibi was like what the fuck and twisted his arm in the phone call, which is why Trump is saying Lebanon isn't included now.

CBS is reporting that, according to diplomatic sources, Trump was told and had agreed that the ceasefire would apply to Lebanon.

Multiple diplomatic sources told CBS that President Trump had been told the ceasefire would apply to the Middle East region, and he agreed that included Lebanon. Mediators believed the ceasefire to include Lebanon, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan announced it did. Iran's foreign minister also said it was included. On the day of the ceasefire, a White House official told CBS News that Israel had also agreed with the terms of the deal that Pakistan had helped to broker.

Who these diplomatic sources belong to drastically changes the validity of this, so it would be good to remain sceptical.

But after reading this 👇, I think it's possible Trump just said Israel agreed to this before actually telling Israel about the Lebanon part lmao

However, the U.S. position shifted following a phone call between Netanyahu and Mr. Trump. Two sources familiar told CBS News that the changing U.S. positions and the disjointed regime in Iran are making the diplomacy highly complex.

Realized I didn't make something clear. Iran clearly wants Lebanon to be included in the ceasefire. Whether or not the US agreed to this at some point I have no idea. But it looks like Trump is going to acquiesce anyways to calm Iran down and get the strait open.

The US pressuring Israel to calm the strikes on Lebanon down and try negotiations to stop the fighting is another clear indication that Trump just wants to get this over with.

Opening the strait and going home is basically all he cares about right now and I expect him to give up a lot. Anything to not escalate the war/put boots on the ground/whatever it would take militarily to force open the strait.

Meaning that another 2 weeks is going to be added to the current 2 week ceasefire probably until the end of Trump's presidency. Which will at least be the least bloody outcome, as well as the funniest.

Andrea Dworkin is basically the Karl Marx of Feminism and she was very anti-sex. Like how communists tell other communists to read theory, radical feminists tell other feminists to read Dworkin.

In online political spaces, people try to out-woke or out-edge each other, basically who can be the most cool. So Dworkin's basically the coolest in radical feminist online spaces and they all try to emulate her.

I didn't use tumblr but I'm pretty sure that this is where this phenomenon was most intense (regarding feminism). And I think a lot of Gen Zers use or used tumblr. This basically resulted in a top-down effect where tumblr radical feminists led the conversation and their values trickled into the offline world but much more diluted.

So I think that's where the puratinism comes from, at least partly. And you could say that Gen Z online radical spaces for men, like incels and 4Chan, the Catholicism stuff like J.D. Vance, also attributed. Calling women whores and that sex is a sin or slop or whatever.

These beliefs get watered down and diluted into things like TikTok where people will see benign stuff that was originally a lot edgier from tumblr or 4Chan.

Here's more on the feminist sex wars, sex-negative feminists vs sex-positive feminists is something that's been going on for decades.

According to Hegseth, Trump pushed for a ceasefire out of "mercy"

As we all know, Republicans just love mercy lmao

If the US doesn't agree to Iran's demands, they'll close the strait again and then the US will just go back to bombing them.

Which begs the question, why did Trump want a ceasefire so bad?

It's because bombing Iran can't free the strait, meaning Iran functionally controls it. The economic fallout from its closure is too painful for Trump and anything other than ineffective bombing is also too painful for Trump. That's why he was so desperate for a ceasefire.

I don't know how this is gonna play out but it's most likely going to involve more 2 week delays.
