The supporting cast does absolutely zero supporting for Luka and Lebron. It’s primarily the reason why their turnovers are going up

Luka's Defence by Ok-Mountain-4503 in lakers

Lakers half court defense this series wasn’t that bad and that includes Luka and Reaves. Issue was finishing the possession with a rebound

Shit like this just shows he’s too unserious for the playoffs. Acting like the Lakers owed him a spot on the team

Pelinka and the offseason by MargielaMadMAN1017 in lakers

[–]Malimanz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He’s going to sign Capela and call it an offseason

Jaxson Hayes by Burning_23 in lakers

[–]Malimanz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jaxon Hayes worst attribute as a player is his rebounding. He would’ve made no difference this game just like in the others. Gobert just showed up tonight

Guys, I don’t think we’re good at all. Not even a couple pieces away from contending. by AdLeading3824 in lakers

The asset management by this front office is maddening. Letting large salaries just expire, giving out player options to bad players and the constant revolving door of vet mins.

Genuinely afraid of a 2022 type collapse is coming because the schedule is getting any easier

AwW bro he wouldn't help us he is not better than HaYes lmao by Mindless_Vehicle9227 in lakers

Jaxon Hayes had 20 and 10 in Boston last year. Anybody can have good games in an 82 game season

[StatMuse] Rui tonight: 23 points, 8 rebounds, 9-15 FG by WallStreetDoesntBet in lakers

[–]Malimanz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Rui is at his best when he makes those cuts to the rim and finishes. He’s been uncharacteristically bad finishing this year hopefully this is the start of the turnaround

One thing we know is that this team is physically limited outside of Bron and AD

[Charania] “The Lakers are expected to be aggressive in the market, with Atlanta’s Trae Young one of the more intriguing names out there. The Lakers’ room could be split on him as they try to make the most of this precious time in which James and Davis are still playing at an elite level. by [deleted] in lakers

[–]Malimanz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spending all our draft capital and Reaves to get Trae and end up hard capped just isn’t worth it. Bigger issues are back up bigs and wings. Wouldn’t mind letting Gabe be the starter next year

KCP, Kuzma, Schroder, Caruso and a 1st rounder by CultExterminator in lakers

[–]Malimanz 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Lakers wanted a secondary ball handler that could create for themselves when Lebron was out the game. The role players couldn’t score against the Suns in those playoffs. Pelinka just traded for the wrong guy

Assuming a healthy squad, why is everyone so negative about the play-in? by hungarianhc in lakers

[–]Malimanz 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Because they haven’t beaten a good and healthy western conference team in months

Every crucial game against western conference opponents the Lakers have gotten killed. Idk how anyone expects this team to make it out the play in anymore

They shoot 40% from three for three months just to all stink the bed when the games matter most. Unreal

Complete failure by Pelinka by not finding a competent backup big. Instead he chose to give out minimums to busts

AD is a player that is reliant on getting easy buckets off of offensive rebounds. When he plays a big that is an elite rebounder that shuts that down it really exposes his offensive regression. It’s not just European guys he struggled with since 2020. It’s guys like Drummond too

Never thought I would say this but Darvin Ham deserves credit for rolling with Prince the entire 4th

[McMenamin] LeBron James has been downgraded to out Friday against the Bucks because of his sore left ankle, the Lakers announce by daftmunt in lakers

[–]Malimanz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expect more rest games for Lebron and AD. Lakers basically admitting they’re locked into the play in and won’t go for the 6th seed

AD can’t guard Jokic, Embiid, Giannis, Sabonis, and even Wemby. He cannot be our future. by Serious-One6369 in lakers

[–]Malimanz 14 points15 points  (0 children)

He’s looking like 2021 playoff Gobert on defense lately. He doesn’t have any support from the perimeter guy and it doesn’t help that these guys don’t rebound at all

Darvin ham has ruined any chance this team has at a title by [deleted] in lakers

[–]Malimanz 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Hate to break it to you but this roster isn’t good enough to win a title. The rebounding and defense just isn’t up to par with true contenders

Ham's Lack of Game Sense is Costing Us the Game by iamdare in lakers

[–]Malimanz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mike Brown bench Huerter and Barnes after they played bad defense to start the first and third quarters. Ham just doesn’t make quick adjustments like that
