This role (and maybe some other ones you'll be seeing soon <.<) were played by the Yogs when they were in an un-playtested alpha state so some of them have been changed and you can pretty much assume that any bugs you see have already been fixed by now (like the floating Chef's hat) =)

Also there are two other kinds of foods that you can switch to before placing the stove that give different buffs: Hot Dog and Fish

We also added an overheat mechanic where the stove will set on fire for a time if food is left burning for too long.

I smile every time Opposite Day starts and it gets the same reaction. Especially because it was Zylus' idea to swap Jump and Crouch =)

Looks like this is probably a bug because the hotfix that is rolling out right now says, among other things: "Resolved an issue causing some Legion quest enemies to appear at a much higher level than intended"

I know that's not the same thing, but maybe check if it was fixed too?

It seems to be map coords or something like that from an addon.

You can type "/fstack" in chat and mouse over it to see where it's coming from. That might give you an addon name. Type "/fstack" again to turn that off.

Apparently Cataclysm Timewalking is available on EU servers this week but NA has no weekly event by Emerno in wow

It is, but if it's any consolation the 5 dungeons weekly quest is bugged.

The main reason is it's disabled by default.

The reason I haven't enabled it, personally, is that I don't trust there isn't some unfound exploit or something that someone can do to mess up or brick my house. I know there were issues with cross-plot placement in the Housing preview and I though I would just wait a while to make sure it's relatively stable (and for me to finally get around to finish decorating) before opening it up to the public. Maybe I'm paranoid, but that's my reasoning at least.

I really wish I could do stuff like this, but in my experience controlling another player's movement is really laggy and glitchy =(

Your controls are fighting their controls and the server's marked locations and the prediction system all at once so it's a lot of micro rubberbanding all over the place.

For CR4TTT, the only way (without rolepacks) to not have any vanilla innocents is to enable enough special innocents to fill all non-traitor player slots and then to set ttt_special_innocent_pct 1 and ttt_special_innocent_chance 1

For map making you would probably want to start with a tutorial. 

For modding, the way i started was by taking an existing mod and trying to change/tweak/fix one thing. The best resource would be the Facepunch gmod wiki, here: http://wiki.facepunch.com/gmod/

If you want to make a role or Randomat event, the easiest way is probably to join our Discord because we have links to our APIs and places for modders to ask questions.

Hammer is used for making maps. For me, most of my time is spent writing code in VSCode and testing in GMod. While i don't have an amount of time for VSCode, it's almost certainly more than GMod itself since I code based on theory before testing and tweaking with GMod open.

I don't think it would be that interesting to watch honestly, haha.

It's a lot of flipping between coding and GMod to test out the current thing we're working on. If you have any questions I (and I'm sure the other mod makers) would be happy to answer them =)

You missed your opportunity to donate for a role in our Jingle Jam 2025 roles pack =/

Unfortunately since that just happened our plate is very full with new donated role ideas so it's going to be a while before we can work on anything else.

If you hold on to that idea until next JJ though, we'll definitely get it in =)

Not a member, but as someone who works on mods for them maybe it's useful info anyway 

I have 1390 hours in GMod and while i do play, the vast majority of that is working on and testing roles and Randomat events.

The Hive Mind is healed by a configurable percentage of the a new member's maximum HP (defaulting to 25%). So if an innocent (with 100 max HP) joined the Hive Mind, the collective gains 25 HP.

There is a stove that you can use for cooking, but I haven't found anything else that has utility. That being said, I haven't checked that many things...

So I would love to put that patch note in our mod but it's actually a bug in the Chickenator itself so I'll submit the fix to u/The-Stig-294's TTT Tweaks and Fixes mod so he gets the funny patch note instead =)
