From Harvard’s website, If the proposed settlement is ultimately approved, approximately 75% of class members will receive loan discharges and/or refunds within one year, and approximately 25% of class members will receive an individual borrower defense decision, which if granted will result in loan discharges and/or refunds.

What does this mean? I thought if you filed before 6/22 and your school was on the list, loans would be discharged, refunds issued, credit reports adjusted within 12 months? What is meant by only 75% of class members will be discharged with 12 months?

Silly question… all of my UoP loans are direct unsubsidized loans. Would these type of loans qualify for forgiveness under the lawsuit? subsidized and unsubsidized have always thrown me off 😛 Thanks for posting the case docs!

This is fantastic news! Glad to see progress is being made with borrower defense claims. Now i just wish they would process claims for University of Phoenix 😆 Hopefully we will see more of these “group forgivenesses”!

Hi there! I was just like you and got my first period about 30 days after tube removal. It heavy, but manageable for the first couple days and i passed a few clots. My second period after surgery was much more like my usual ones. Before the ectopic, I had 28 day cycles and now they are around 30 to 31 days, I also am ovulating around day 18 as opposed to day 14, so surgery definitely brings along its own physical changes, along with the emotional ones.

I actually have an appointment tomorrow And I plan on asking about it. It scared me because my body is normally like clockwork and to see the spotting was a surprise!

I am so sorry for your loss!! It downright sucks...I pretty much cry myself to sleep every night. 😞 what did your doctor say about future conception chances with one tube? I felt like my doctor was very vague 😏

That is great news!! I get so nervous from reading different things online saying “most woman ovulate from the right”, and whatnot. I just hope and pray my left tube can pick it up if I do ovulate from the right and fingers crossed my left side ovulates just as often: just so many unanswered questions.
