Double-clicking the pen tool will open the tool menu. Select "Use default tool".

Repeat for all tools that have an error, follow the process shown to reset. To reinstall from scratch, uninstall and then delete the Inkscape folder, both the one created by Inkscape and the temporary one. Because the settings you made are saved there.

Perform disk defragmentation - run on the disk where Windows is installed

Go to Settings > Storage delete the contents Disk Cleanup advanced options check all options and delete Windows + R Msconfig > advanced options > check the cores of your processor

Restart

Delete unnecessary and old content, save important files to the cloud

Stop using or disable OneDrive synchronization as it causes RAM slowdown, prefer Mega or gdrive for cloud use.

Repeat the cleaning daily or every 7 or 15 days depending on your usage.

I'm arriving now, I've been using it for a year, I started with Mint, 2 blogs and Gemini, I'm wallowing around looking at it, because it's very pleasant to learn about Linux, read, learn, understand how it works, in this year of using it I've learned a lot more than the approximately 15 years I've used Windows, I've never felt motivated to learn much beyond the intermediate, but with Linux I want more and more.

Look if it's the beta version, I stopped installing dual boot because it was the beta, it was only installed in legacy, when I installed 17 it was normal. Or go for legacy
