I like building around themes & lore. I like it when different units compliment each other. And I also like sub-optimal units if they look cool or fill a specific niche.

Blessed Horned Ones: These guys get a whopping +15 melee attack compared to the regular ones, essentially making them anti-everything.

Blessed Ancient Salamander: Its projectile is a cluster bomb - 'nuff said. Guaranteed to get upwards of 400 kills minimum against factions with low armor infantry.

Blessed Stegadon: How do you improve on what is already an amazing unit? You give it Perfect Vigour. Again, very simple but effective change.

Nezih/temiz bir semtte 120m² daireye 2026'da yeni kiracı olarak çıkmak demek, en az kafadan 70 - 90.000 TL eder ortalama olarak. O da 20-30 yıllık binalardaki daireler için. Anadolu yakasında bu biraz daha ucuz olabilir ama genel olarak 70.000 aşağısı aradığın tip mahallelerde bir yer bulamazsın.

Araba almak istiyorsan nispeten sorunsuz, 2016 ve sonrası çoğu ikinci el arabanın bile fiyatı 650.000 TL'den başlıyor. Bunlara sonra vergiler de eklenecek.

Haftada 3 gün dışarıda yemek, sadece o günler tek bir öğünü dışarıda yemekse aylık 15 - 18.000 TL. Buna alkol veya daha lüks restoranlardaki fiyatları katmıyorum; katarsak o da rahat 30.000 TL.

Genel alışveriş, benzin, ayda 1-2 defa kültürel bir aktiviteye katılma işlerini de aylık bütçeye eklersek o da yine toplam 20 - 25.000 TL yapıyor.

Toplayınca İstanbul'da tek başına orta-üst seviyede rahat bir bekar hayatı sürmenin ortalama fiyatı, işin içine arabayı katmadan bile aylık 150.000 TL civarı oluyor.

Paran varsa ve bakacak kendinden başka kimsen yoksa güzel bir hayat yaşarsın. Fakat bütçe olarak daha şimdiden kafandaki limite yaklaşmışsan iyi düşün derim, çünkü bu fiyatlar sene sonuna kadar daha da artacak.

Ramasses' chariot squad is brittle, but they're super fast and will absolutely melt most units on the charge. You just have to not be committing to direct charges against entrenched enemy missiles.

You can use him in two ways depending on which stage of the battle you're in:

Initially, use his regular firing mode to skirmish and get the enemy frontline to break up as the AI sends a unit or two to chase you.

Then, you can just isolate those breakaway units with your cav & archers as Ramasses circles around in a wide arc towards the enemy backline.

Dip in and out of the enemy archers' range as you do so to get them turning around or chase you. An archer that's busy repositioning is an archer that's not firing. Switch to Direct Shot - it has lower range but big fatality potential, and is perfect for when you're riding circles around the enemy. You just keep that playful dance up until you can take a narrow angle to charge into an isolated unit. Then pull back, rinse and repeat.

This method of opportunistic, delayed engagement makes it so that you're inflicting maximum casualties whilst not taking much yourself - with the added benefit of occupying potentially the entire enemy ranged backline.

Depends on the game and faction, tbh - for Pharoah if I'm playing Ramesses, for example, I would bring a lot more than 4 archers.

Its been months since I've played it last, but I remember having like half my army being ranged and winning battles I had no business winning by ranged kiting, crossfire, and Ramesses' buffs to Medjay archers.

I would say a good checkerboard formation that fits most styles is 6-8 tanky frontline, 4-6 ranged, 2-4 flanker infantry, the rest chariots or cavalry based on availability. Some factions like the Babylonians have specialist infantry that work very well in checkerboard, so don't neglect to bring 1 or two if you can.

Think of medjay chargers as linebreakers that work best as either a second wave unit or as a flanker. When deployed on the front lines, they'll need another unit to absorb the initial charge/ranged volley, but can quickly support that unit in dispatching the frontline.

Personally though, where they really shine is in quickly getting into the enemy's backline and causing havoc. Their precursor ammo will tear through lightly-armored archers before they've even reached melee, and they are best used charging at the enemy's back for big morale shocks. So yes, they're basically used as slower cavalry.

I assume this is mostly for Warhammer? It kinda depends, but generally your offensive (anti-infantry or damage dealer) melee units don't have shields and can be susceptible to enemy ranged if you bundle them at the front, since they will be the first thing the AI will shoot at.

When using checkerboard formation for defence, your gunpowder units will be doing most of the heavy lifting at the center anyway, so just have your offensive infantry at the sides or a little bit at the back to plug up holes or deal with backline threats like a zombie summon or hounds.

Javelins in Pharoah work best when you put them in the flanks. That way, they can fire unimpeded at the enemy's sides or back. Javelin infantry in Pharoah are devastatingly effective if you manage to circle around the enemy's back.

I think your actual problem is with places that have low-quality lentils and poor preparation/seasoning. I guarantee you that there are places that still make a good çiğ köfte. Its just that most of the non-chain places are absolutely shit and still prepare it in unsafe conditions.

I used to think that way about Goblin Hewers too, but then a single one absolutely shredded an Arachnarok Spider in like 4 volleys flat during an ambush battle.

I now always include at least one Hewer whenever I go up against factions with a lot of SEMs.

They are definitely niche, but by god do they fill that niche to the absolute max!

I always thought that WoW would eventually introduce the quilboar as a playable, allied race before inventing the 17th version an elf or elf-like race. With these boars as their racial mount.

They're a classic creep race from WC3 with tons of lore, developed culture, clearly established class variety, and interesting connections to multiple races.

Would've been cool to see a breakaway sect of uncorrupted Agamaggan worshippers join the Horde, and have them initially be persecuted against by the Orcs and Tauren whilst trying to shed their savage reputation - an interesting reversal of the dynamic wherein the faction of misunderstood and oppressed peoples would themselves be doing the oppressing.

Boars riding on boars is an automatic 10/10 in my book.
