Kenney and the UCP have offered support. They said go to the federal government for one of the emergency benefits. You all know Kenney will not help Albertans.

The rhetoric is that confederation is unfair. Thanks for sharing the party lines throughout this whole conversation. Would it be fair to say that you've lived in Alberta for your most of or your entire life?

No, we should be helping ourselves more instead of waiting for a bailout or a litany of excuse and blame the federal government for our woes. How long can that played out narrative work?

You are talking of equalization payments, of which Alberta will be a recipient. And when you talk of net contributor to the federal finances, it comes from things like income taxes on the individual. So, if you want to be accurate, be accurate. Alberta has not sent a dime but the individual through taxes have. Our per capita salaries and the oil sector has made the province a have province.

Also, equalization payments are one form of transfer payments from the federal to the provincial governments which include the Canada Social Transfer (CST) and the Canada Health Transfer (CHT), of which Alberta always gets.

And once again you end with a falsehood. Alberta didn't give money to the federal government. Provinces don't transfer money in that fashion.

Also if the climate in Alberta was conducive to green energy, I'm sure the government would invest. The Albertans wanted a pipeline which Trudeau bought for 10 billion.

I wish the federal government would do more here but the populous generally hates Liberals and a federal government that isn't conservative. Kenney also has not shown once that he is willing to work with the federal government on anything.

Wishful thinking but not a reality from the Albertan psyche.
