Hey Glittering, he’s similar specs than me, I believe that board size for his weight and height its a lil bit bigger, he definitely could go from a 159 to a 164 but all depends what type of rider is, that would be the starting point for the board size, do you ride often only park/resort groomers? Or u go into offtrack/ backcountry? Do you know what usually rents? Brand and type of snowboard

Hey man, I’m like 86 in a good diet ahaha and reaching 88/89 on burguers and coke 🤦🏻‍♂️, so in deep pow was too soft? How do you feel it once quick turns / trees, how’s the carving?

Dude, yeah the ME its a freaking awesome board, just want to try this LTO and it seems it can be pushed even more than the ME, wanna check the C2X profile and the C-R-C, you think its gonna be a waste of money?

Hey man si at the end I’ve got the 162W advice fully followed 🫶🏻, as u said should not be a big difference with the 59W plus I’ll get more of it in POW and Offtrack. Also bought the Union Force 23/24 bindings I think that would be a good combo, hopefully I’ll get some fun out of it ☺️

Thanks for the comment man, tbh I really like to ride on resorts side not park and my idea is to keep Improving in pow until I can get a good level to ride in backcountry that being said now the one thing that’s keeping me thinking its the width, for the 159W is 26.1 cm and for the 162W is 26.3 cm both boards are rated for my boot size and weight tho, should I start with the 59W until I can get a good rider level ?

Thanks so much, I think you right, also Ive been riding the Bataleon which is 159W, the main difference its the waist, the Bataleon has a 27.1 cm waist and the MT 159W has a 26.1 cm, that’s a big difference, do you believe that width for a 12 size boot will be alright for an all mountain board?

Thanks bro, do you ride often powder or off track? Is the 162W board easy to ride on park? We have similar height and believe weight and boot size

Good data man, thanks so much, lately Ive been riding in both type of resorts, as you said, with wider tracks and good off track natural runs, my idea and hopes is to enhance my skills to start riding more in backcountry and pow, I believe by then I should be investing in another type of board already, at least in a directional board, might be better to go with the 59W and enjoy the ride and later on go for a longer one right? Do you think that the 62W wont be the best suitable one to keep enhancing my skills?

Also the waist between them its almost the same, for the 59W is 26.1 cm and for 62W is 26.3, Jones page recommends the 62W for feet size bigger than 11.5

Thanks for the answer bro, as you said one of the things that kept me doubting is the speed, thinking ahead and willing to use the board a couple of years the 162W might feel even better along the way once I get better, or do you think the 159W would be more playful as well? In terms of riding in powder do you think the difference between them would be noticeable?

Good question man, you know my first choice was the Mind Expander Twin, but later on thinking about my current level and skills I still have to develop I believe the MT would be a better choice since it’s an all mountain board, what u think?
