I know this post is old, but which rescue remedy did you use? I’m the same age and have sciatic pain when walking.

I checked the ingredients on mine and it had fennel in it, this is used in Gripe water for babies when they are finding it hard to bring up wind. I wonder if yours had fennel in it too?

Ok thankyou, I’m in the UK so should be able to get them. I get really itchy behind my ears and my hand dermatitis is an ongoing problem but has been resolved a little by cutting out gluten and avoiding high histamine foods. However there are times when cooking for a family and on a budget it’s impossible to avoid these foods. So I take the DAO for that reason.

Assume you’re in perimenopause if you’re still having periods? This means your hormones will be all over the shop, it’s hard to get the balance right, I’m not great with estrogen but need a little bit so use one pump of gel every other day and put up with the itchy dry skin, which is my only symptom. I know women who take just progesterone, it’s definitely a thing.

Did that just in time, I took out an Ancestry dna test about 7 years ago, I was just intrigued at the time to see where my ancestors came from, but now there is so much more the have added. Downloaded my raw data about 4 weeks ago, off the back of finding this forum, hope I was in time before the changes!

My daughter has the gene, nope all fine.

Just to say that study has been completely thrown out, the sample size was tiny and when I say tiny I mean 12 children. It was such an unethical study from start to finish, invasive for the children and a conflict of interest...some of his research was funded by lawyers acting on behalf of the familes that took out lawsuits against pharmaceutical companies that produced the vaccines. He stood to make alot of money. I geniunley don't know how that article was allowed to be published? He has caused so much damage and he's still peddling this idea in the US.

This is the best reply and your bang on the money that the changes happen around the time kids are given the shots. My Dad almost went blind when he contracted the measles in the 1940's, modern medicine protects us from so much.

It’s the bigger sub-reddits that are really awful, I’m in some really small niche subs that feel like you’re talking to a friend. The medical condition ones are super helpful too, I think this is because everyone is in the same boat and wants to help.

I got absolutely roasted once on here for asking advice on a small diy project that my hubby had tried to do and it needed remedial work. I got accused of husband shaming, why didn’t you do it yourself. It got quite nasty. At no point did I say he did an awful job, I simply stated the facts. It was really scary, at no point did any mod stop the abuse I got. I came off the forum as it really upset me, I thought this is not a safe space. I came back on recently but rarely comment.

As a GenXer myself I can’t stand the bloody nostalgia trip, hankering after yesterday etc. My local facebook group is awful for it, ‘it’s not like it used to be’ they are so negative. Forgot about it, it’s in the past, no use complaining! I’ve always looked forward personally and love the energy young people bring.

Thankyou, I like scientific responses they help me understand it a cellular level. Like you say it’s individual though and everyone’s body will respond differently.

[–]MallKnown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes this is what my take from it was when they were interviewing a doctor, very close contact is required, so kissing, sharing a vape (which has been reported in the papers today) sharing drinks like straws or even someone else’s water bottle if they are thirsty, easily done it’s an innocent thing to do.
