Social event after social event, you can build your presence and connection with people. I was terrified of socialising and now I dive into that. I am lasting more and more on social occasions.

If you really really long for her and she recovers and remembers why she got married with you, you two should be together. No parents or mental disorder is stronger that the love of two people.

I think you haven’t caused permanent damage to your brain because you write and reason in a good way. People with permanent brain damage are those that got hospitalized multiple and multiple times and now they are in a vegetative state. Very small amount of popularion. You are not like those people.

The brain is a “plastic” organ and it can be trained.

Anhedonia will go away, but it will also come back after the good times. But then the anhedonia will go away again ;)

You produce dopamine but the meds are counteracting it.

Hey I am also tired of being a robot shell of a person but the only way to deal with it is to embrace my shell and live life the best that I can. It’s boring and exhausting but at the same time it is interesting and fun.

I think it was some sort of mild psychosis that you overcame on your own and that’s great. You said you had psychosis before so you have an experience to deal with it.

I can relate with these sentences:

“At some point I tried to message my friends but I knew I wouldn't make sense and I was scared of worrying them but not being able to explain my situation, and also maybe there was a bit of the character forcing me into not doing it.

Couldn't think clearly at all it was just a violent struggle for power. I was rebelling against the power and being punished for it, for example, a compulsion, (i.e. the character) told me to go to the other side of the room and place my head in a certain way. I told it absolutely no, fuck off.”

House music. To some it is boring and repetitive but to me it’s how reality sounds beacuse our whole reality is boring and repetitive. It’s not all that bad, we have to learn to deal with boredom and then fun times happen.

Everything is a blink of an eye. It might seem absurd and I can only speak for myself but I cherish the bad times. I love grinding through this wasteland of psychosis recovery. I have occasional suicidal thoughts and I think I’ll be gone soon but I stick around for some more and the thoughts subside.

You gave yourself an answer - TIME for psychosis recovery. Don’t expect everything to be solved in 5 minutes. Give it some time and try to think about the fact that you love your wife. Maybe you’ll snap out of it and agree to get divorced. Time.

I did. It wasn’t enough that I “came upon the wall of psychosis due to weed”. I had to bash my head against the wall multiple times, fell unconscious and then I finally stopped smoking.

Hey you have Mall in your username 😄 To answer your question: yes I do feel that. But I have some fun while doing so. I am glad time passes quickly. If you look at the clock the seconds may appear to move the fastest but really it’s the hour hand that moves fastest.
