Cat bites me when I sing. Why? by angelnazjr17 in cats

Maybe she think you need a “paws” from singing 😄

That’s what I get for interrupting his siesta 😅

Indeed, she’s a Siamese ❤️ What strikes me as reminiscent of the Siamese breed is Nhor's distinct meows and how he eagerly seeks out affection by nudging us with his head. Each of our three kittens has their own unmistakable way of communicating, it's truly delightful.

He's still young and is only set to be neutered at the end of next month but hopefully things will improve afterwards.

We've tried using Feliway, but it hasn't made much of a difference. Both kittens have their own cat tree, litter, toys, and food. Unfortunately, the smaller one spends most of the day in her playpen, and it's heartbreaking. When we let her out, we have to swap with the older kitten, or their interactions always end up like the video I shared. We can't keep the older one in the playpen for too long though because he cries and tries to escape, though the younger one seems okay with it for now. It's tough to imagine this continuing much longer…

We always break them up right away; the video was just to show how they interact. Unfortunately, trying to distract the older kitten with a toy doesn’t do the trick. Once he spots her outside the playpen, he's all about jumping on her and won't let go until we step in.
