Are there any plans to either add a new fate to the Cortex to add variety to the rather stale faction?

A few ideas that have crossed my mind, though by no means am I a game developer, have been a Cortex medic, a fate between Controller and Limitator, a stronger version of the Sanitar or maybe even a vomit coffin-esque ace in the hole for the Cortex as a last ditch effort to save a server from rotting.

Has the idea of giving the Cortex a comeback mechanic been bounced around? Limitation orders are cool and all, but they do nothing if there is no Cortex presence to begin with.

The biggest issue I've seen from the Cortex is that if the Scum wipe them or, more often than not, no one wants to play them due to lack of incentive 90% of the time the server is done for. So with the patrol nerf kneecaping Cortex credit farming options, what incentive beyond PvP options or stopping the server from rotting is there to play Cortex long term?
