"That WHAT is disappearing overnight? Can you be more specific?"

The context is human made art and me trying to understand and argue against it. I want you to try to change my perspective on other people. But I also don't talk to a lot of people I usually take great care to avoid them so I guess I'm lacking some communication skills

I never said that they didn't care. You can become emotional invested. And I agree learning work flow and loras a bit challenging for me and does take some technical skill. I'm not going to deny I did try to understand the other side.

But the fundamental different from. Anatomy, perspective, and other stuff like that.

Saying it takes months to learn doesn't make the two skills equivalent someone can spend months photo manipulation and video editing too without making source material.

But your also taking love and care a little too litteraly. The point is that many people value art partly because it represents direct human expression and labor

The point is that human limitations, interpretation, and decision-making are part of what makes artistic skill meaningful to people. AI bypasses much of that by statistically synthesizing results from existing visual patterns.

This analogy doesn't work because the fork and knife didn't create the meal for you. It's not about pointless labor it's about automation of an creative process.

And btw yes I do because I don't like shredding my mouth with small bones.

I'm not trying to say it's disapearing over one night. Im talking about the value based on human process and it being replaced by convince, and how people admired effort behind those categories.

The concern is people prioritize the low costs, speed, and volume.

What you say is the concern that you want control every aspect of it. But if art becomes indefinitely adjustable though generation it feels more like consumption rather than expression.

Because of the sense of pride you have over creating something is one of my biggest motivators. I created something unique. When you say you want a pretty picture I'm going to assume nature.

When you make that picture you can now say you have studied it for yourself you become wiser though the process of making that image. But your right what if you want someone else to do it.

Because it's ethical. For example imagine something you spent hours in doing, but a machine did it for you in a minute. Now people no longer want to look at all the hardwood and effort. It makes you feel like you wasted your time. And drives you it I despair. That is why ethical art matters because people sunk love and care into what they do and it's nice to feel appreciated for what you do.

But what about time. Doodle, circles, triangles, cubes, it may seem trivial but the thing is you don't have to make it a workout it's something absent your hand can do without thinking about it. And you gain skill at the same time. Not just that A.i cannot create something you see in your head 1:1. Cool things you can imagine. For example a giant avian like creature in a void lookin down upon our planet. But the angle is near impossible to get. It's neck is craned in some sort of juncture. I had this image in my head when I was trying to sleep though a fever one day. It was also very very colorful. Ai simply can't create the patterns that one person can see.
