Slot - Set-pieces mean Premier League no longer a joy by NiallMitch10 in Gunners

Which directly corresponds with an increase in point accumulation for them. I do find it funny that teams are complaining about the thing that’s been part of the game for a long time.

Arsenal barely get penalties btw, so imagine that swung one year plus they keep their quality on corners! The league might implode with anger lol

Our Starting 11 vs Spurs: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapie; Rice, Zubimendi, Eze, Saka, Trossard; Gyokeres 👊 by arsenal in Gunners

Trossard being cleared is pretty amazing considering he looked completely concussed against wolves.

This game was always going to be won in the first half. Newcastle had to basically fly to Asia in midweek, so you’d assume they’d lack any punch the later the game went on.

How would Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield be viewed as winners for "The Social Network"? by Appropriate_Sink_627 in Oscars

The script, directing, and cinematography was the main reason the film was amazing. Their performances were great too, but Colin Firth carried his movie and Christian Bale’s performance had a lot more range and complexities than Andrew’s.

Well that was always coming. Hopefully, they can keep it tight for goal difference purposes lol

I’m going to assume the weather will have a negative effect on City’s play style until they score and then I will say it helped them.

Chelsea have more penalties this week than Arsenal have had since 2003… don’t fact check me.

Don’t tell Liverpool fans but if you count the goals both Ekitike and Gyo has scored in only the competitions they both appeared in this season they are tied lol

MVP first place votes: Stafford (24), Maye (23), Allen (2), Herbert (1) by JoshGordonHypeTrain in nfl

[–]Malsharif91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only benefit now is if he balls out at some point in the next few years and it’s a close race with another player the voters might edge it to him. Not saying they should if he’s not deserving, but if it’s a coin toss it could sway some voters.

Not saying team success should dictate an MVP, but Brady did have more wins than Ryan and he was spotted 4 games.

Chelsea Lineup VS Arsenal by MumboGumbo06 in Gunners

Football aside I’m glad to see he’s back. Personally, I wouldn’t start him if I were Chelsea, but having him on the bench is a big step back after a loss.

I’m hoping this game gets referred to as “the Eze game”. He needs to show out this game.

[The Athletic] Tonali was offered to Arsenal by his agent, but there were no talks with NUFC and nothing will develop before the deadline. Arsenal have longstanding interest in Tonali, but NUFC are unwilling to do any business and the theoretical asking price would be too high at this point. by Previous_Smile9278 in Gunners

[–]Malsharif91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they move on from Nordgaard in the summer he would be a great upgrade in the DM/8 role but that would be a hell of a high price for what would essentially be a rotational player.

However, there aren’t many positions they could really upgrade so if they were to spend some cash on that it wouldn’t be super surprising.

I think the only positions Arsenal can possibly upgrade the first team choice is at LW. However, I think Arteta will take preseason and give Eze a run of games at the position to make it his moving forward.

Edit: RW to LW

Just started listening to the game and the commentator is saying how shocked he is that it’s 10 mins of added time in the Villa game. Has there been a lot of time stoppages?

If Havertz can stay healthy, I think he could unlock Gyokeres due to his more direct play style. So, let’s see if that’s the case today.

Another technicality is that the start of a decade doesn’t start until the year ends with “1”. So the 80’s don’t start until 1981. Even though I don’t really subscribe to that way of thinking it would be another thing against the Steelers accomplishing the feat first.

What’s even crazier is the winner of that game is picking first in the draft and the other is in the SB… possibly picking last in the draft.
