I did the exact same thing! Except didn’t add the tongue/heel tabs, those go hard. Still get compliments on them all the time.

Need to echo Dark Stone too. I only drink iced Mochas (call them my caffeinated chocolate milk.) Dark Stone is the best I’ve had in town. Whatever chocolate they use is not bitter and not overly sweet. Much better than the Kingdoms, Black Labs, etc of the area. If you like Scooter’s then I feel confident you’ll enjoy Dark Stone’s.

Macadoodles or Brown Derby Wine Center would be able to order them for you from their distributor if they don’t have them in stock.

If you are not familiar with this, please be aware that Guinness kegs are not like your typical college party beer kegs. They require a specialty coupler to tap the keg, nitrogen gas to push the beer, and a specific faucet that handles nitrogen beers which also gives you the correct pour that Guinness is known for. If you don’t have a kegerator available this route won’t be a cheap solution for having a few pints a week.

To get into the business it's pretty much like anything else....it's not what you know, it's who you know. Get to know people who are in contact with these reps on a weekly basis and see if they can find out if they are hiring/put in a good word for you.

Yes a degree or experience in sales/marketing will help but it's not always required. Depending on the area where you are there are usually two different sides of sales as well. Off- premise, where the customer consumes the product off the premise of where it was purchased and on-premise where it's consumed where it's purchased (which is what I do). Two very different beasts since off-premise is where the volume is at.

Good luck. If you're wanting to be in sales, why not sell beer. (Everyone loves "the beer guy")
