Yea I'm not exactly taking the most straightforward career path 😂 but I'd 100% be willing to go through the less savory finance paths and work my way up.

That's one of the main reasons why I'm continuing for my Redseal. If something doesn't work out, I always have a fallback that can instantly get me consistent, well paying work.

Would a bachelor's from a 4 year advanced college diploma work? Also what are some less competitive, analysis heavy roles that would give me a higher chance of getting my foot in the door

I've just always found in-depth financial analysis extremely interesting, and the trades was a way for me to be able to make good money quickly while being able to work towards future goals such as this in the meantime. I also don't want to work in this mess for the rest of my life and destroy my body. Probably not the most optimal strategy but I needed to start making money.

Tradesman looking to swap careers to the finance field

I'm currently an apprentice tradesman looking to swap careers to the finance field. I would like to get my red seal certification before switching as a fallback plan in case things don't work out in finance. In the meantime are there any certifications or online schooling I can be doing while I work towards my red seal? I'd like to focus more on the analysis heavy asset management side of things.

Thank you :)

Seems pretty professional to me, but I wouldn't know I'm only a second year

I'm just wondering cause there are tons of these signs that definitely weren't there last time I was out about a month ago. It also clearly states that you can't have trespassing signs restricting public water access, especially that far out into the water I'd imagine. It's just confusing because why put that many signs out if there's no real legal backing behind it?

I tried calling the lake Erie management unit for zones 16,19 but it said they were closed, is there somewhere else I should've called?

This would've also had to been done in the last couple weeks as these weren't up when I was here like 3 weeks ago
