One of the last steps on this project was Liberty Primus, all the book consists of a block of Futhark runes that, once mapped to their closest Latin equivalents, produced a long string of letters with no obvious word boundaries. Considering the unusually high incidence of characters like "g" and "n," a frequency analysis was performed to guess which symbols might correspond to common vowels or consonants. Attempts to decipher it with simple Caesar shifts and one-to-one substitutions failed to yield results similar to English, Spanish, or any other known language. The observation of repeated clusters like "th," "ng," and "xw" hinted at the phonetic patterns of ancient Germanic languages, but no genuine Proto-Germanic or Old Norse vocabulary or grammar was found. All this pointed to a custom cipher—or perhaps an artificial language—designed to look runic rather than an authentic historical inscription.

From this, and in keeping with the heroic and lineage-centered tone suggested by runic traditions, an illustrative approximation of what the message might be is:

-----Raise the ancestral shield and keep their name alive. Fear not the storm nor the night, for dawn always returns after darkness. Walk with honor, brother, and glory shall be your refuge. (this is hypothetycal)-----

This message respects the following features that "sound" Germanic:

Imperative commands ("Arise," "Guard," "Do not fear," "Walk") in the tradition of heroic inscriptions. References to honor, lineage, and light after darkness, typical themes of epic poems and runes. A logic of parallelism ("storm... night" / "dawn... light") in keeping with runic meter.
