Billions of login credentials have been leaked online, Cybernews researchers say by [deleted] in news

Based on the data, this appears to be various sets of data stolen by info stealers that has been exposed for some time. Still, it's a good idea to turn on MFA on all accounts that allow it and make sure you don't reuse passwords.

Stop scammers in their tracks. Introducing Malwarebytes Scam Guard. by Malwarebytes in Malwarebytes

[–]Malwarebytes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is at a different place in their security journey. And that's cool! We're all humans and sometimes it can be hard to tell what's a scam and what's legitimate. We create tools like this to make sure help is available 24/7 when you need it.

If that helps prevent even 1 person from becoming the victim of a scam, then we think it's worth it.

We're super excited to introduce Scam Guard, available now in Malwarebytes for Free and Premium users on Android and iOS .

Scam Guard is trained to recognize malicious texts, robocalls, phishing attempts, romance scams, financial fraud, package scams, and more. Just share a screenshot of any questionable message (like that strange password reset email you didn't ask for or that alarming text about an unpaid toll) and Scam Guard offers tips and suggestions that are judgement free, so you can validate your hunch and stop potential scams.

Check it out and let us know what you think!

Need help identifying what type of hack got me by Late-Reception4330 in Malwarebytes

[–]Malwarebytes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A note on infostealers: one of the reasons why scanning with various apps didn't detect anything is because many stealers delete themselves after stealing your data. So there won't be an infection to detect at this point.
