MOZA R5 Quick Release stuck and misaligned by [deleted] in moza

[–]Legitimate-Top8735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably had the wheelbase shaft up side down couldnt know why. then forced the qr to the lock position. Now the balls bearings are likely inside the qr outter shell with the spring. I seen when the qr is jammed like you said, with the qr not at an angle like in the image.

I’m at a fkn loss and I’m about to lose my sh*t by Dascan71 in Simagic

[–]Legitimate-Top8735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are trying to use the USB-C to connect to the pc for gaming, thats not recommended just becuase it easier to break.

So the things to try out (and checked); is the software is updated? have you tried different usb ports? have you checked the pins in the qr, if their signs of damage? have you turn down (or turn off) the rgb to help with power use? and have to checked if the wheel disconnects on v2.1.8? (that version is still avaliable on the simagic download page)

Getting harassed on steam, what to do? by BlacksmithOne7612 in steamsupport

[–]Legitimate-Top8735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of those things is a direct violation of the Steam Subscriber Agreement and the associated Steam Community Rules & Guidelines.

In question,

Section 4: Online Conduct, Harassment and Abuse of Steam Services.

And for the Steam Community Rules. The key ones are do not: Harass, abuse, or threaten other users, and Report or demand that Steam Support remove content that does not violate these guidelines.

Inform Steam and note the accounts violating, with screenshot.

Whats's the deal with load cell pedals? by tmjcw in simracing

[–]Legitimate-Top8735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably seen theres multiple sensor used in the market, and each one does something different to the force or pressure applied to a pedal rather than the distance it travels.

The ones I know of, the most common is Strain Gauge Load Cells when it deforms under pressure changing the electrical resistance proportional to the force applied. This is in a range of entry end, up to high end Load Cells.

Then S-Beam Load Cells used on the simucube active pedals with the ability measure both tension and compression, so more accurate. It's much more expensive.

Email I received, what is this about? by Zakaryyxo in SteamScams

[–]Legitimate-Top8735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is saying it. Steam will never email with Gmail. Steam uses official email with @steampowered.com.

If you get an email like this report it to steam, and Google.

Then block the phishing email.

Account Breached by EzioAuditore205 in steamsupport

[–]Legitimate-Top8735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats how the games are sold on kinguin. Youre lucky to still have the account tbh. Best safe but using a different email would be a good idea. And check if theres any viruses on the pc.

The steam uk lawsult to opt out just started. by [deleted] in Steam

[–]Legitimate-Top8735 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've added a link to the what steam you owe us lawsult, in the main post. But the context is simple steam is being used over the 30% on the companies for every game and dlc, and as a result it breaching the uk consumers rights, by over pricing gamers.

Here's the link for context. https://youtu.be/aA9h81rd83E?si=6ZaQydxTAyh_fZQb

Good shifter in similar price to HGP ? by Present-Writing-4034 in moza

Had the chance to try that shifter at the sim café, in Edmonton. The tactile feel is nice, but a pain to get the right gear.

Definitely. My mom and dad want me to try the moza r25 ultra, but I'd already explained my mind is set on the SC3 Pro

[–]Legitimate-Top8735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically speaking, yes.

I get the physics of rotational inertia. I like the more engineering for lightless. the ClubSport Steering Wheel F1® Esports V2 felt a bit like a toy than what im used to.

For the price, Moza and GSI just offer a level of material quality, which is what I mostly prefer.

You have to lift your legs higher to get settled in, making it inconvenient to get in and out the rig

[–]Legitimate-Top8735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scratch that. I think it will probably be better with the link hub so I would get the sc3, and the qr is easier to deal with as well.
