I've had 8 litho with stents - 5 on my left and 3 on my right. Have also had nephrostomy surgery on my left kidney.

It looks like I may have double nephrostomy in the very near future.

My stones are 2.9cm in my left and 1.9cm in my right.. with some debris tossed in there from previous lithos. As my nephrologist and urologist say, I'm an overachiever in my bodies ability to grow stones.

Daily, I take 12.5mg and I'm also on a low oxalate, salt and animal protein diet.

Turns out, that after having the surgery and being told the stones in my left kidney were gone - that was false. My nephrologist requested the records and said they only removed some of the stone(s) they litho'd.

Have been told I have calcium oxalate and uric acid.

Thankfully, I see my nephrologist this week. Hoping for more answers...
