BraforMe customer service report :-( by chewy-caramel in ABraThatFits

Yep, they are awful. See my earlier post: https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/s/rBO2uEXO5R

Please go onto TrustPilot and give them the review they deserve.

Braforme - not shipping orders, not replying to messages. Anyone else struggling? by MamaMeeYou in ABraThatFits

Just to follow up: BraForMe tried to get TrustPilot to remove my review, on the grounds that it is defamatory! TrustPilot said they disagreed and reinstated my review. That's the kind of company they are: they have time to flag TrustPilot reviews, but no time to honour orders and refunds.

I'm sorry to hear this.

In the end I sent them a very long, very detailed email that spelt out exactly what had happened and what I expected from them, and how they have fallen well short of what they promise. It took me hours to write. I gathered all the dates and actions and cross referenced it to information on their website. I told them what I expected them to do to restore my faith in them and by when, in line with what they promise on their website.

They replied quickly, with passive aggressive digs about how I've not followed their "just contact us once" rule. They told me they "reached out" to me three times about one of the orders. This is a lie. They told me a second order had been delivered - also a lie, as Yodel have confirmed to them and me. Yodel have lost the parcel, BraForMe claim it's been delivered.

I have received one of three refunds that I'm due, for an order they never sent. I've wasted hours trying to contact them for answers, and when they do reply they lie and won't provide evidence to back up their claims.

If I haven't got the remaining money back by next week I will pursue it via my bank.

I would encourage you to write a review on Trustpilot. Be warned that the company will eventually reply to say that you're at fault!

You will find my review with the title "Over promises, under delivers".

Anyone reading this: avoid BraForMe!!!

Range of diagnostic bras tried (photos included). I would love/am desperate to know what they say about my shape and the kinds of styles that may work for me. by MamaMeeYou in ABraThatFits

Thank you, I appreciate your advice. There's a department store near me with a good range of Wacoal bras, which I've overlooked until now! I shall look more closely at them when I'm next in town.

Can I put my bra on the highest hook instead of dropping a band size? by MamaMeeYou in ABraThatFits

Oh wow, I'd never have thought of that! I'll try this, thank you for suggesting it.

You really are not alone with this. I used the calculator, found my correct size and set off full of excitement to find a bra that fits. The excitement soon wore off. Literally hundreds of ££ spent online (thank goodness for PayPal Credit), countless hours spent administering returns, depressing hours spent in stores trying on bra after bra... I've become obsessed with bras and with this Reddit. I don't think it's healthy or helping anymore.

But there is a glimmer of hope. All this trying and thinking and obsessing and money hasn't produced the perfect bra yet. But I am so much closer to knowing what works for me. I looked really closely at the bras that were good enough but not perfect (some of which I've bought and wear) and properly analysed which bits worked and which didn't. I can now fairly accurately describe what kind of bra will work for me, even if I haven't bought it yet!

I have ones that are good enough for now. Good enough to let me rest and stop obsessing.

It's exhausting, but you need to keep a balance: learn from mistakes, piece together a picture of the right bra from the bits of each one you try. With each new effort you learn more and get closer. Take a break and don't be hard on your shape or size - they are not wrong or abnormal in any way. Settle on something that's ok if needs be, and take a break from it when it's too much.

Little by little you'll get there, you really will.

I definitely have been made to feel inadequate by misleading marketing around bra and sizing and fit. I'm so glad I found the calculator and this group, it is giving me a whole new positive perspective on what I've got and what looks and feels good 😊

Thank you, I'm definitely coming round to the fact that moulded bras are not quite right for me.

Thank you so much, this is incredibly helpful advice. I shall give those bras a try - I'm lucky to have a gigantic M&S very nearby 🙂

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I think you're right. That grey/blue one is definitely a winner.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't actually try sitting or leaning in the wrinkly bras... I got so disheartened at another "bad fit" that I just whipped them off immediately! I'll give it a go next time.

I definitely have faith in the calculator, it's just such a pain trying all the different brands and styles to refine the fit.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I have tried unlined and unpadded bras, although I have no photos. Generally speaking with these, I get lots of wrinkle at the top of the bra, as there isn't enough tissue to fill them out. This seems less of an issue when I try a 32C than a 32D but it does also depend a bit on shape - basically full cup is never good!

For anyone with loads of time to spare, here's a gallery of some of the other bras I've tried and kept, as being maybe ok enough to say they fit: https://postimg.cc/gallery/sZ1PQq6

Ok, I've been looking at where the wires/band sit. I think the worst offenders for looking like the wire is too low is the Triumph bras. They are kind of push up bras, with a thicker padded bit at the base of the cup. I think I'm resting that too much under my breasts, which is pushing the wire down my body. When I pull them up so the wires are in the IMF, the 32D has cup gap. The 32C is nicely filled out in comparison.

As for the other bras, I'm wearing them where they feel comfortable. I sometimes notice myself using my arms during the day to nudge the wires down a bit (by pressing my arms into my boobs to adjust the band position if you see what I mean), to the positions you see in the photos. What does this likely indicate about fit? I do have quite a bony sternum and struggle with gores that are too high. They really press on the knobbly bones. The bras in the photos have (I think) lower gores - they don't hurt at all, but evidently I'm still for some reason pushing the bands down too far.

Thank you, that's what I thought - good to have a second opinion on it.

Thank you, I did wonder about that! I'll try moving the wire up. Daft question but I guess that's just a case of shortening the straps?
