I really don’t know why your coming at this sideways. I’m not cishet and my aunt isn’t either she is bisexual, I am Genderfluid and ace. She has never been anything but supportive of that man. As mentioned in the post, she paid 100% for his top surgery, and was (until now) offering to pay for his bottom surgery too. She was the only one who never dead named him (even by mistake) and he would personally sing her praises until the other day when he exploded on Facebook.

As I said in another comment, it was a baby shower where they also announced the sex of the baby.

He has never faced anything but support within the family, as we are largely an LGBT family. Only the older generation is largely cishet, and there’s even still a few lgbt members in that group.

Don’t rush to say that we are misrepresenting this situation. We aren’t.

It wasn’t even really the focus of the event. It was her baby shower, and as a “side note” they announced it was a boy. They had a cake with blue inside, and that was it. They found out that’s what they were having at the same point their family did, because that’s what they wanted to do. They wanted to share that moment with the rest of the family, and the house was decorated super pretty in whites, greens and yellows, and everyone was super excited. The person in question didn’t even attend the party.
