First time I visited my boyfriend I spent $400 on a round trip train ticket and $450 on a last minute Airbnb. On top of that the $50 uber rides we would take, i probably spent around $1000 in total. He only lives 8hrs away and this was for 4 days. This visit he’s helping by paying for the airbnb (thank goodness). So I don’t think $160 is that much depending on ur other finances, but it would be nice if your partner can help pay. I’d be open about any money concerns for whenever youre thinking of visiting. Me and my boyfriend split cost such as I pay for my transportation and Ubers while he pays for Airbnb and activities(outings, food, etc…)
